Better Chance advises X5 Group

17 August 2023 Better Chance advises X5 Group, a leading grocery retailer in Russia, on acquiring a 100% share in Victoria Baltia LLC.

Victoria Baltia operates the Victoria stores in the Kaliningrad Region, Moscow, and the Moscow Region; the Deshevo stores in the Kaliningrad Region; and two distribution centers and the CASH hypermarket in Kaliningrad.

The deal’s perimeter includes 118 stores with the combined retail space of 92 thousand square meters, including rented facilities. Alongside this, the X5 Group will take ownership of two distribution centers in the Kaliningrad Region with the overall area of 14.2 thousand square meters.
